Job Summary:

As a key support to the Market Manager, the Assistant Branch Coordinator aids in monitoring the branch's daily functions to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and adherence to established procedures. This position also involves mentoring and training branch staff, resolving personnel challenges, and contributing to increased sales of deposit and loan products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Market Manager in the day-to-day running of the branch to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Deliver continuous coaching and development sessions to branch staff regarding various aspects including products, services, and operational procedures.
• Work together with the Market Manager to resolve team concerns and organize the recruitment and timetabling of employees.
• Conclude staff performance evaluations and any supplementary documentation for assessment by Market Managers as requested.
• Take charge of overseeing workflow and conducting teller and customer service responsibilities in the Market Manager's absence.
• This role focuses on the sales performance of new deposit and consumer loan products, as well as providing information on the various services available at the financial institution. Proficiency in recognizing sales opportunities and making quality referrals is a key aspect of this position.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of three years of experience in supervisory, sales, service, and operational roles within a financial institution is a prerequisite for this position.
• Competent in expressing ideas verbally and in writing.
• Confirmed success in customer sales and service, showcasing excellent communication skills.
• Aptitude for working both individually and collectively with a range of individuals in a team context.
• Possess the ability to smoothly transition through transitions and efficiently manage numerous tasks.
• Superb organizational skills, technical proficiency, and computer expertise.
• Confirmed proficiency in supervising and energizing team members to fulfill objectives successfully.
• Proficiency in the protocols, policies, guidelines, and operational procedures concerning branch management, teller services, and customer interactions.

Specific Job Functions:

• Lead the branch's daily operations and confirm that the staff maintains compliance with the Banks operating procedures, policies, and guidelines.
• Tasked with ensuring that branch cash audits and periodic audit/security reports are finalized and submitted punctually.
• Monitor teller and customer service staffing schedules to maintain ample coverage and optimize workflow efficiency.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous training to staff members to strengthen their competencies and understanding in diverse areas like operations, compliance, sales, and customer service.
• Carry out sales tasks to effectively market Partners Bank products and services to a wide range of clients, including both existing and potential customers.
• Highly capable in effectively selling, servicing, and personally producing a wide range of deposit and consumer loan products and services.
• Be involved in the arrangement and communication of staff performance evaluations and files.
• Offer support in the hiring process for branch tellers and customer service staff, and aid in the creation of policies for handling disciplinary matters involving employees.
• Competent to manage the branch on a provisional basis if the Market Manager is not present
• Participate in community gatherings as a bank delegate, fostering staff participation.
• Execute further obligations as necessary.
