Job Description:Small Business Relationship Manager
At Regions, the Small Business Relationship Manager's main duty involves engaging with clients and potential customers through various channels such as face-to-face meetings and phone interactions. Their primary objective is to identify the financial requirements of these individuals and fulfilling these needs by actively suggesting suitable products, services, and advice to help them reach their financial objectives. This position is centered on expanding and reinforcing current client connections with an emphasis on Preferred Banking Households, catering to their intricate financial needs including affluent solutions, investment possibilities, loan services, debt management, and in-depth discussions on savings strategies.
Primary Responsibilities:
Attains personal and branch objectives by actively recognizing client requirements and delivering expert advice and insights on Regions' offerings, particularly for Preferred Banking Households
Engages in making outgoing phone calls utilizing compiled lists of potential customer leads from Preferred Banking and other consumer households to enhance current connections and establish new ones
Collaborates with the Branch Team to act as the main point of contact for a group of Preferred Banking Households
Provides information and guidance to clients regarding Regions' range of Consumer and Business offerings, encompassing various loan and deposit options, as well as annuities and life insurance products
Informs clients about cutting-edge technology and digital advancements like mobile apps, internet services, and ATM features, aimed at simplifying banking processes
Ensures a uniform and top-notch customer service experience, which involves dividing the duties related to daily branch operations such as welcoming clients and handling transactions to guarantee that clients can conduct their banking activities according to their preferences and convenience
Manages and effectively handles customer concerns and complaints
When extra financial objectives and requirements are identified, customers are directed to a team of in-house specialists for assistance
Assist in the growth of the team by acting as a specialist for entry-level bankers
Complies with all banking protocols, regulations, and legal requirements in place, performing tasks as directed by the Branch Manager. Acts as part of the branch staff to uphold proper banking standards and to oversee, detect, and communicate operational risks
This role involves monitoring the hours worked beyond 40 in a week and qualifies for overtime according to the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements:
Obtaining a high school diploma or its equivalent, a GED, is essential for furthering one's education and career prospects
Two years of experience in the banking, sales, or customer service field is required
Proficiency in managing currency and conducting financial transactions involving physical money
Proficiency in interpersonal, telephonic, and digital communication platforms
Frequent engagement with a computer, involving tasks like typing and focusing on a screen for extended periods. Regular utilization of a computer, including activities such as typing and maintaining concentration on a display screen. The capacity to operate a computer regularly, encompassing tasks like typing and sustaining focus on a monitor. Using a computer often, which involves typing and paying continuous attention to a screen. Regular interaction with a computer, such as typing and maintaining prolonged concentration on a monitor.
