Job Overview:

The Equipment Finance Regional Director is responsible for promoting a range of equipment finance lending and leasing solutions to medium and large commercial clients within an assigned territory. This role is performance-focused and requires the ability to independently identify prospects and maintain an active and consistent business development strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop new business relationships and expand existing client portfolios
• Maintain and grow established customer relationships
• Build strong connections with companies generating $15 million+ in annual revenue
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Treasury teams to promote cross-selling of banking products and services
• Prepare proposals, commitment letters, credit applications, and required documentation
• Stay updated on equipment finance products, credit policies, structuring guidelines, and compliance requirements
• Ensure portfolio management and risk adherence align with credit policy and regulatory standards
• Identify and execute cross-selling opportunities within existing client relationships
• Develop and implement calling strategies to generate new business opportunities
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and ongoing client relationships
• Support team members in prospecting, credit analysis, financial spreading, and underwriting processes
• Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Organizational Relationship:

This position reports to the Managing Director of Direct Originations.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, or related field required; MBA preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in equipment finance sales
• Experience using SuperTrump, TValue, InfoAnalysis, and CRM systems

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong credit and financial analysis capabilities
• Ability to independently manage complex lending structures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and relationship-building abilities
• Deep understanding of equipment finance lending and leasing products
• Ability to structure loans and make sound credit decisions
• Proven success in sales and business development
• Ability to perform in a target-driven sales environment
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Knowledge of commercial lending laws and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Additional Information:

Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, certifications, and other relevant factors. This role may also be eligible for incentive compensation and discretionary profit-sharing programs.
