Job Description:

Client Support Coordinator help shape the future of service by modernizing the client experience through an elevated standard of care. The Client Service Associate assists with the development and growth of business through engaging and utilizing the full capabilities of the firm. This is a key role that requires an understanding of firm policies, procedures and firm capabilities in order to deliver the full firm to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Support:

  • Establish and enhance client relationships by engaging in regular communication with clients, processing their requests, resolving inquiries, providing counsel, and ensuring the accuracy of key information and documentation
  • Recognize and aid in selecting Firm services and solutions that align with clients' needs, comprising banking products and services as well as secure, digital offerings like Morgan Stanley Online and Morgan Stanley Mobile
  • Verify authorization and authenticate the client during the processing of their requests
  • Manage and sustain client accounts, including the acquisition of client information and required documentation, conducting financial transactions for demonstration
  • Evaluate and execute actions based on client account alerts

Other:

  • Aid financial advisors in the development of a business plan and the execution of a client care system
  • Help enhance the team's marketing strategy by preserving marketing materials, including online and digital resources, and arranging client gatherings and seminars
  • Be actively involved in accessible training and education programs that tie in with the company's strategic priorities, professional development, and awareness of policies, procedures, and emerging platforms, as well as making a commitment to join targeted monthly training calls for field service professionals
  • Help Financial Advisors with administrative tasks that include answering phone calls, making travel arrangements, setting up client meetings, compiling travel expense reports, and managing calendars and filing systems
  • Participate eagerly in initiatives guided by local managers
  • Regularly seek opportunities to use firm resources for peer sharing and collaborating with Financial Advisors

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma/Equivalency
  • College degree preferred
  • Experience in the relevant field is a positive attribute
  • Intent to acquire Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) paired with Series 65 (RA) credentials

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Well-versed in computer literacy and adept at utilizing the features of Microsoft Office applications
  • Superior written communication skills and adeptness in interpersonal and customer service competencies
  • Recognized for being detail-focused, displaying excellent organizational skills, and demonstrating proficiency in task prioritization
  • Proficient in team participation and fostering a collaborative working atmosphere
  • Ability to excel in a swiftly changing and dynamic work atmosphere
  • Goal-oriented, internally motivated, and oriented towards achieving outcomes
