Job Description:

At Regions, the Senior Financial Relationship Banker is responsible for meeting with customers and prospects both in person and on the phone to determine their financial needs, and meeting those needs by proactively offering appropriate products, services, and guidance to achieve their financial goals. This role will focus on acquiring and deepening existing customer relationships with a focus on Preferred Banking Households to include more complex, affluent solutions, wealth opportunities, investments, lending, debt consolidation, and in-depth saving conversations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Attains individual and branch objectives through the proactive identification of client needs and the provision of expert guidance and insights on Regions' offerings, with a focus on Preferred Banking Households
• Contacts customers and potential leads via phone using generated lists from Preferred Banking and other consumer households to develop existing relationships and acquire new ones
• Works closely with the Branch Team to fulfill the role of primary relationship managers for a set of Preferred Banking Households
• Offers education and recommendations to individuals about Regions' array of Consumer and Business products and services, covering a broad spectrum of loan and deposit alternatives, annuities, and life insurance plans
• Informs clients about cutting-edge technology and digital advancements like mobile apps, internet services, and ATM features, aimed at simplifying banking processes
• Maintains a steady and excellent customer service journey by potentially distributing the tasks associated with daily branch operations like meeting customers and managing transactions to secure that customers conduct their banking activities when, where, and in what manner they desire
• Deals with and resolves customer queries and problems promptly
• When identifying supplementary financial goals and needs, customers are guided towards an internal team of experts
• Contribute to the team's development by acting as a subject matter expert for junior-level staff
• Complies with all bank protocols and relevant regulations by completing tasks as instructed by the Branch Manager. Works alongside branch colleagues to support secure banking procedures and to identify, address, and communicate operational risks effectively

This job requires keeping a record of hours worked beyond 40 in a week and is eligible for overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements:

• Graduating with a high school diploma or earning a GED is an important achievement that validates one's educational competence
• Candidates with two years of experience in banking, sales, or customer service will be given preference
• Capability in the processing of cash and conducting transactions in a competent manner
• Ability to connect through direct, telephonic, and electronic communication methods
• Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
• Capacity to work on Saturdays when the situation demands
• The skill to ambulate and remain upright for long periods
• Capable of transporting objects that weigh a maximum of twenty pounds

Certifications/Licensures:
