Job Description for Banker:

The position of Banker at First Citizens Bank entails the continuation of building and enhancing relationships with business owners within the community to support them in reaching their financial targets.

The key role of Banker is to acquire and manage a portfolio of business banking relationships. They partner with bank allies to provide a full suite of deposit services and related business solutions. Larger relationships could be managed with the approval of a manager or appropriate partner support. They establish and nurture an active list of potential clients, a customer outreach plan, and reliable referral sources as per a sales strategy to achieve production goals and profitability objectives.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree and a minimum of four years of experience in business lending, credit, or business development, or possess a high school diploma/GED and at least eight years of experience in these fields.
• Demonstrated aptitude in advancing business opportunities and substantiated capability in fostering and enhancing client associations.
• Showing strong expertise in financial analysis and evaluating creditworthiness.
• Understanding business lending options, deposit offerings, and strategies for managing cash flow.
• Proficient in effectively communicating, negotiating, and presenting ideas.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formed COIs and referral pathways
• Effective financial analysis skills combined with credit underwriting expertise are essential in ensuring responsible lending practices and minimizing the risk of default
• Having insight into business lending, deposit options, and cash management solutions is critical for financial stability
• Proficient in dispensing financial advice and expertise
• Specialized in sales forecast and strategic preparation
