Job Summary: Senior Account Consultant

Under the purview of the Senior Account Consultant falls the task of seeking out and trading loan/lease and turn-key bank loan products to prospective clients and established connections within the private and public middle market sector. The incumbent engages in direct sales activities aimed at middle market corporations, which can be privately held or publicly traded, spanning sectors like manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, and services, and beyond.

Essential Functions:

• Launch and pinpoint emerging business opportunities, including established clientele and actively prospecting for new customers through cold calls and in-person interactions
• Arrange direct conversations with leads to elaborate on the products, charges, and financial terms provided by Northwest
• Surpass volume benchmarks by effectively pinpointing, verifying, and finalizing equipment financing arrangements directly within the designated territory
• Employing industry insight, analytical abilities, product familiarity, and communication competence to recognize, cultivate, trigger, and retain customer connections
• Design, devise, offer, and execute credible financial transactions
• Consistently adapt to evolving market conditions and competition by actively managing customer relationships
• Provide support to the credit department and staff upon request
• Experience using Excel and familiarity with a CRM system is a positive attribute
• Stay in accordance with Northwest's policies and procedures and adhere to all applicable Federal and State regulations
• Optimize technology resources by mastering Microsoft Office Software and department-specific software to maximize operational efficiency
• Operate successfully as a team player
• Utilize the on-site tools and machinery for operational purposes

Qualification:

• One must hold a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a similar area
• The suitable candidate must have a history of at least five to six years in marketing and sales, ideally gained from employment within a commercial finance company or bank
• Demonstrated expertise in creating and managing long-standing connections with senior level executives in the middle market
• An independent and relentless marketer with a strong entrepreneurial drive and vast experience in beginning, assessing, and finalizing a variety of financial offerings.
• Established track record in corporate financial sales, consistently meeting volume requirements and forming enduring relationships with clients
• The ability to consistently spot opportunities and cultivate relationships with the candidate's current network of contacts while also building new customer relationships is key
