Role Overview:

A Financial Consultant is tasked with utilizing their background to meet the distinct and intricate requirements of clients in the Mass Affluent (MA) segment by identifying needs, reviewing financial goals, and suggesting investment choices that correspond to the client's objectives. Serving as the central point of contact, this role involves providing client services and nurturing relationships to achieve a higher share of the client's finances by assisting them in attaining their goals concerning asset accumulation, preservation, growth, and security.

Depth & Scope:

  • Skilled in sales of investments and provision of financial guidance
  • Displays a commitment to prioritizing customers by delivering exceptional service in every interaction to maximize customer retention and enhance business growth
  • Commits to delivering a comprehensive on-boarding experience for new clients, which involves conducting a detailed client assessment, completing a financial needs analysis to provide advice tailored to goals, presenting the centralized client servicing team as relevant to the client's requirements, and ensuring the finalization of all required client paperwork
  • Proficiency in teaming up to stimulate the generation of new business opportunities
  • Capable of goal supervision, task prioritization, and at home in a rapid work atmosphere
  • Confirms the delivery of a high-quality MA Planning Experience to all clients, regardless of their tenure
  • Create a strategic framework to safeguard that every client engages in an Annual Client Review (ACR) gathering containing an enhanced program tailored to the client's complete wealth management necessities and fostering regular proactive correspondences
  • Takes on the primary responsibility for managing TD Wealth client relationships in the MA segment, overseeing all dimensions of the client's connections with TD Bank and recommending Retail and Wealth partners and affiliated entities when appropriate
  • Designs and delivers a unique service experience for MA-based clients
  • Hits quarterly and annual sales accomplishments
  • Broadens wallet share by anticipating client needs and advising on the most suitable wealth management solutions. Prioritizes profitability while maintaining a high standard of client satisfaction
  • Recognize possibilities in your portfolio and connections to endorse leads to Retail and Small Business/Commercial Partners
  • Conducts tasks thoroughly and in compliance with set regulations and policies
  • Conforms with federal, state, and self-regulatory organization regulations alongside internal policies pertaining to all corporate endeavors
  • Verifies that all Continuing Education standards are fulfilled
  • Obligated to grasp and comply with the policies and procedures of TD Bank & TD Wealth
  • Responsible for carrying out the TD Customer Identification Program (CIP) by obtaining and validating the required customer identification information, and performing other Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence Requirements as specified in the Business Unit AML policies
  • Discovers client assets and transitions upscale clients to the appropriate HNW Wealth partners as required
  • Charged with developing and supporting a positive and collaborative work environment that specifically aims to assist the Wealth team in its entirety
  • Presents support, financial guidance training, and ongoing evaluation to Retail and Small Business workers

Education & Experience:

  • The job mandates a 4-year degree or an alternative of substantial work history
  • - Over two years of proven performance in selling investments and delivering financial planning solutions effectively
  • A deep understanding of the vast array of investment products and services in the market
  • Necessary enrollments include the SIE, Series 7, and Series 65/66; those with just the Series 65 will need to achieve a Series 63 or 66 during the Licensing & Registration timetable
  • Requisite Life/Health Licenses or the capability to obtain them within the Licensing & Registration Schedule is a must
  • Comprehensive understanding of methods for advancing a wealth management enterprise, covering a range of products, services, and the industry
  • Verified skill in reaching and exceeding sales quotas
  • Competent in providing services related to retail and small business banking
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop relationships and engage in successful partnerships with multiple departments within TD Bank, a prominent institution known as America's Most Convenient Bank
  • Competence to commute within the assigned territory to engage with leads, clients, and partners, with travel representing 75% of the duty hours
  • Driver's License required
