The duties of a Personal Banking Specialist are key to:

• Directing, preserving, and securing enduring win-win relationships with our clients.
• Acknowledging and interpreting the prolonged financial requirements of clients while recommending customized solutions in both products and services.
• Taking advantage of the bank's cutting-edge technology products to cater to the evolving needs of our client base.

Responsibilities include:

• Reaching quarterly and yearly sales targets for the team and branch in a variety of sectors, which include customer intelligence analysis, commercial real estate dealings, small business administration lending activities, mortgage services, treasury management solutions, deposit handling processes, wealth management investment product sales, international deposit and wire transfer services, and other commercial and consumer service offerings.
• Acquiring and enhancing loans such as Home Equity Lines of Credit, Residential Mortgages, and Commercial Mortgages.
• Compliance with annual updates and regulatory mandates for Mortgage Loan Originators (MLO) necessitates a clear understanding of interest rates, financing options, and mathematical calculations to effectively cater to potential mortgage clients.
• Retains an in-depth understanding of the financial institution's deposit, loan, and extra services and the associated qualifying conditions.
• Supports customers in managing financial needs such as withdrawing cash, depositing money, transferring funds, repaying loans/credit card debts, initiating wire transfers, and converting foreign currencies.
• Shows a proactive approach and dedication to achieving outcomes that align with clients' interests.
• Utilizes robust analytical reasoning and solution-driven abilities to address clients' requirements effectively.
• Works together with colleagues and different areas of the company to deliver the best product options to customers based on their specific needs.
• Engages with customers in a confident and articulate manner, facilitating effective communication.
• Skilled at swiftly learning about products, services, and technologies and teaching customers how to conduct banking transactions online, through mobile apps, and self-service portals.
• Skilled in the utilization of digital resources and technologies to enhance the quality of clients' digital banking experiences.
• Illustrates a strong motivation and capacity to influence, educate, and establish connections with technology users.
• Accomplishes tasks beyond the specified duties.

Qualifications include:

• A high school diploma or GED is necessary, and a Bachelor's degree is seen as beneficial.
• The ideal candidate should have over two years of experience in customer service, cashier roles, sales, and Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) functions within the banking or financial sector.
• Deep insight into the functioning of branch operations.
• Demonstrated success in a consultative sales role within a related sector, emphasizing achievements in acquiring new clients, building lasting customer relationships, and driving meaningful results.
• Recognized for their professionalism and thorough approach, showcasing strong follow-up skills.
• Effective at promptly embracing new processes and technological innovations.
• Extensive experience with branch technology, mobile banking tools, and online banking platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude, decision-making prowess, and customer-focused skills.
