The job scope of a Relationship Banker involves proactively engaging with customers to understand their financial goals and offer personalized banking solutions. As a Floating Banking Specialist, you will support these initiatives while providing flexible service across multiple branches or departments.

Primary Job Functions and Obligations:

• Guide and propose the array of resources provided by the bank to customers, including in-branch services, digital tools, and support from business partners.
• Meet individual objectives by conducting the required amount of face-to-face and outbound calling tasks, presenting essential solutions and recommendations based on customer needs.
• Manage tasks related to opening and closing accounts, assisting customers with account selection, conducting account research, and complying with BSA and CIP regulations.
• Support consumer loan submissions: solicit loan requests, stay informed on loan policies, and assist in managing consumer loan accounts within the branch network.
• Identify customer requirements and connect them with a partner-focused team serving small businesses, corporate partners, financial advisors, and mortgage professionals.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through active engagement and consistent delivery of exceptional customer service.
• Ensure all departmental paperwork and tasks comply with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including completing necessary compliance training.
• Process customer requests and transactions accurately and professionally while engaging in positive conversations to identify needs and provide suitable solutions.
• Perform supplementary duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in motivating and communicating information in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and coworkers.
• Adopt a collaborative team approach to effectively meet customer needs in a dynamic banking environment.
• Manage and coach branch staff according to established protocols in the AFCM's absence.

Education and/or Experience:

• HS Diploma/GED
• One year of customer-facing experience with a goal-oriented approach
• Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office programs
• Utilize social media platforms to enhance brand awareness and gather market insights

Other Qualifications:

• Occasional travel for meetings, training, and supporting bank conversions or acquisitions, with minimal overnight or out-of-town commitments
• Ability to provide guidance and support to other banking institutions within the market
