Job Description:

The Portfolio Credit Manager aids in risk assessment and management of the Bank's loan portfolio through analytical scrutiny and credit supervision, handling duties like yearly reviews, renewals, monitoring loan covenant adherence, and managing financial collections for designated loan portfolios. Partners with Relationship Managers to nurture and advance a high-caliber and financially rewarding loan portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze critical details to determine the risk level and to decide on the suitability of a prospect or existing credit as an acceptable risk.
• Recognize credit risk trends within customers and the portfolio and keep management informed about any shifts in risk circumstances.
• Assist Relationship Managers by engaging in client consultations to gain a comprehensive understanding of each client's specific requirements and preferences.
• Obtain relevant financial information to support accurate risk assessment and detailed underwriting investigation.
• Respond to client queries and verify the authenticity of all data for loan underwriting assessment.
• Review the international cash circulation for commercial and individual clients, borrowers, and those offering guarantees.
• Prepare and organize financial spreads, credit presentation sheets, narratives, relationship summaries, and loan pricing models.
• Support in pricing strategies and structuring for new loan products and renewals.
• Handle the coordination of tasks required for loan closing and booking.
• Stay vigilant about industry trends and analyze data specific to the sector to identify potential risks.
• Organize the distribution of renewal notifications on a 120-day cycle and carry out meticulous reviews to confirm adherence to loan covenants and annual assessments.
• Uphold compliance with all necessary regulations and training prerequisites.
• Accomplish all other tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

• Requirement for a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience is necessary, with a preference for candidates with two to four years of experience.
• Advanced abilities in credit risk evaluation and analytical underwriting.
• Demonstrates a commitment to achieving goals and excels in problem-solving.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong connections and establish rapport with others.
• Having a solid grasp of grammar, typing, and spelling competence.
• Demonstrates exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
