Job Summary:

Direct and harmonize human capital operations, including recruitment and staff connections.

Specific Job Functions:

• Monitor the publication of job listings, support in conducting interviews, and rigorously assess potential employees.
• Direct the training and familiarization of new hires within the organization.
• Support managers in managing the recruitment process, separations, and corrective actions involving the workforce.
• Direct the HR Generalist/Benefits Coordinator while collaborating with the Training Manager to develop, implement, and revise Human Resource policies and procedures.
• Provide assistance to employees regarding their issues and offer necessary guidance, including counseling on career development.
• Support in establishing employee relations protocols aimed at nurturing a favorable employer-employee connection and cultivating a culture of heightened morale and inspiration within the workforce.
• Counsel staff on the bank's system for addressing discipline and oversee the process of performance enhancement for employees who are not meeting required levels.
• Provide assistance in processing payroll and compiling payroll reports. Organize the storage of employee personnel documents.
• Assistance is provided for the completion of Affirmative Action Plans and the reporting requirements of EEO-1 and VETS 4212.
• Offer assistance in maintaining the software used for Performance Evaluation and State reporting on a quarterly basis.
• Deliver periodic summaries to the Director of Human Resources concerning the functions conducted within the HR and Training Department.
• Lead the oversight of the EAP Program and the Ergonomic/Safety Program.
• Responsible for handling vendor management in the department.
• Aid is required for the quarterly confirmation of the 941 documentation and the Declaration of Deposits.
• Help with the examination of records and processes in HR audits.
• Support in the semiannual appraisals of NMLS.
• Assist in the advancement, training, and guidance of employees and offer counseling where necessary. Be prepared to fill in for the HR Generalist / Benefits Coordinator and Training Manager as required.
• Carry out duties as the United Way Fundraising Coordinator.
• Involved in the Human Resource Benefits Committee for NHBA and MBA membership.
• Involved in various volunteer projects within the neighborhood.

Job Requirements:

• The minimum requirement is a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or comparable qualification.
• A background of at least a decade in a related field is necessary, or an equal combination of educational attainment and practical experience.
• Robust knowledge in talent acquisition strategies and overseeing the recruitment and assimilation processes.
• Strong background in leadership and managerial roles.
• Proficiency in HR laws and regulations is crucial for ensuring adherence to legal mandates in the field of human resources.
• Displaying exceptional organizational abilities and adeptness in managing several projects concurrently, meeting deadlines effectively.
• Skill in working autonomously and collectively across diverse teams and councils.
• Optimal encounter with ADP Workforce Now Payroll Tool.
• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel software.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal competencies and adeptness in engaging effectively with colleagues at every organizational level.
• Exceptional communication skills, adept in crafting reports and business correspondence with precision.
• Showing good judgement by making sound and timely choices.
• Versatile, attentive to particulars, and skilled at juggling multiple assignments.
