Job Description for Branch Support Banker:

The role of a Branch Support Banker with First Citizens Bank involves the ongoing development and expansion of relationships with business owners in the community to support them in achieving their financial goals.

Branch Support Bankers are responsible for acquiring and managing a portfolio of business banking relationships.This associate engages bank partners to provide a full range of deposit and related business services. Larger relationships may be managed with manager approval and/or appropriate partner support. Develops and maintains an active prospect list, customer outreach plan and quality referral sources in accordance with a sales plan to achieve production goals and profitability objectives.

• Participate in a collaborative team alongside different bank partners to deepen and fortify the full client relationship.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree and a minimum of four years of experience in business lending, credit, or business development is required; alternatively, a high school diploma or GED and at least eight years of experience in business lending, credit, or business development will be considered.
• Successfully showcased expertise in business growth and established skill in nurturing and expanding customer partnerships.
• Possessing adept skills in analyzing financial information and conducting credit assessments.
• Knowledge of business financing choices, deposit services, and techniques for effective cash flow supervision.
• Exceptional talents in communication, negotiation, and public speaking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Structured conflicts of interest (COIs) and referral sources
• Proficiency in financial analysis and underwriting credit is essential for financial institutions to make well-informed decisions regarding loan approvals and credit risk management
• Awareness of business loan options, deposit solutions, and cash flow management tools is essential for business growth
• Skill in providing financial expertise and guidance
• Familiar with sales projection and strategic forecasting
