Client Services Coordinators help shape the future of service by modernizing the client experience through an elevated standard of care. The Client Service Associate assists with the development and growth of business through engaging and utilizing the full capabilities of the firm. This is a key role that requires an understanding of firm policies, procedures and firm capabilities in order to deliver the full firm to clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Support:
Enhance and foster client relationships by consistently communicating with clients, addressing their requests, resolving inquiries, providing guidance, and maintaining the accuracy of key information and documentation
Identify and guide clients in utilizing Firm services and solutions that address their needs, such as banking offerings and secure digital features like Morgan Stanley Online and Morgan Stanley Mobile
Verify authorization and authenticate the client's identity in the request processing
Supervise the setup and maintenance of client accounts by obtaining client information and required documentation, handling monetary transactions as an exemplar
Evaluate and handle client account alerts in a timely fashion
Other:
Assist financial advisors in strategizing a business plan and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service
Support the team's marketing strategy by maintaining marketing assets, online and social media channels, and planning client-oriented events and informational seminars
Involve yourself proactively in accessible training and educational initiatives that are aligned with the firm's strategic focuses, personal growth, and staying informed about policies, procedures, and emerging platforms, in addition to committing to attending targeted monthly field service professional training calls
Assist Financial Advisors in their daily operations by executing administrative duties like managing phone communications, arranging travel logistics, coordinating client meetings, compiling expense reports, and maintaining organized files and schedules
Participate proactively in initiatives directed by local management
Regularly look for opportunities to utilize company resources for peer sharing and collaborating with Financial Advisors
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma/Equivalency
College degree preferred
Practical experience in the sector is a bonus
Motivation to obtain Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) along with Series 65 (RA) authorizations
Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrating advanced computer skills and a deep understanding of Microsoft Office software
Outstanding writing capabilities paired with excellent interpersonal and client service skills
Recognized for being detail-oriented and possessing exceptional organizational skills, consistently able to prioritize tasks efficiently
Exhibits a talent for cooperating with others and supporting team objectives
Aptitude for excelling in a high-speed and constantly evolving work setting
Driven by goals, internally motivated, and focused on producing results
