Financial Services Advisor provide exceptional service to our clients and support Financial Advisor(s)/Private Wealth Advisor(s)/teams on a daily basis. As senior members of the service team, through regular interactions with clients, individuals in this role build trusted relationships. Leading with a client first mindset, a successful candidate for this role will have strong interpersonal skills and their focus will be on delivering an exceptional client experience. In supporting Financial Advisor(s)/Private Wealth Advisor(s)/teams, this role will focus on assisting in areas such as digital marketing, portfolio holdings and/or proposal tools and financial planning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a senior member of the service team, provide coverage for an FA/PWA/team including: cultivating relationships with business partners and colleagues internally and externally; supporting the FA/PWA/team in enhancing new and existing client relationships by providing an exceptional client experience; assisting the FA/PWA/team in delivering against their client service model, including preparing for regular meetings as well as tracking follow-ups; ensuring all client service functions are performed in a timely manner, assigning work to team members on a daily basis if/as needed; providing backup coverage for traditional registered or unregistered Client Service Associate responsibilities at the request of the client and/or FA/PWA/team, such as executing money movement transactions, answering general non-investment related questions concerning clients accounts, educating or enrolling clients in digital tools, accepting or entering unsolicited orders and/or entering solicited orders in a clerical capacity; remaining current on all policies, procedures and new platforms and sharing reminders and best practices with other service team members.
Assisting the FA/PWA/team in coordinating and carrying out their business plan, partnering closely with other market stakeholders such as Practice Strategy Consultants and Branch Management.
Supervising administrative elements within digital and in-person marketing strategies, including conferences, webinars, websites, social media, and regular email communication.
Producing and evaluating a variety of client reports or financial plans with firm-approved systems for current or potential clients.
Supporting data collection using officially endorsed systems.
Participating in meetings with clients, offering insights from a service-focused standpoint.
Engaging in company projects, special initiatives, or other responsibilities as directed by local management.
Education, practical know-how, understanding, and proficiencies collectively form the cornerstones of professional achievement and personal growth:
Candidates need to have accumulated at least five years of experience in a field that is applicable to the role.
Candidates with a four-year college degree or professional certification are preferred.
Individuals are expected to hold certifications in Series 7 (GS) and either Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA).
More product licenses may need to be procured.
Strong leadership skills.
Understanding a wide array of financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, options, mutual funds, insurance products, and managed portfolios.
Proficiently skilled in technical aspects and quick to learn about new and revised platforms.
Showing a commitment to details, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to rank tasks according to their significance.
Advanced knowledge in basic personal computer operations, MS Office applications (especially MS Excel), and internet tools.
Superb prowess in articulating ideas effectively, establishing connections, and delivering exceptional customer care.
