Job Summary:Floating Investment Manager

The Floating Investment Manager provides personalized financial solutions by assisting clients with daily banking needs, managing account openings and maintenance, and recommending suitable investment products and services.

Business Development:

• Rapidly establish a consistent cadence for SBA business growth in the market, including activities such as:
• Planning and preparing for calls, and following up on outcomes
• Client retention calls to maintain existing relationships
• Prospecting new clients to expand business opportunities
• Making outbound calls to connect with prospects and clients
• Participating in networking events to strengthen professional connections
• Maintaining and expanding a mature Center of Influence (COI) network of community and business leaders to generate referrals
• Overseeing sales processes, evaluating creditworthiness, structuring loans, preparing and submitting SBA loan applications, conducting client interviews, and assessing individual characteristics
• Developing new connections and forming strategic partnerships to drive business growth

Credit Acumen:

• Demonstrates expertise in business credit solutions, including:
• Structuring terms and offerings tailored to business needs, asset lifecycle, and growth objectives
• Analyzing financial statements and tax returns to evaluate creditworthiness and risk for both individuals and businesses
• Assessing short- and long-term credit needs based on business cycles and projected growth
• Educating prospective clients on bank lending criteria, SBA programs, and relevant government regulations
• Collaborating with attorneys, loan closers, and internal teams to ensure timely loan closing and funding
• Balancing business priorities with client needs while managing risk exposure
• Adhering to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct and ethical standards
• Mentoring junior SBA lenders to support their professional development
• Following bank policies and regulatory requirements, including BSA, AML, and OFAC compliance
• Reviewing loan applications and collecting necessary applicant information while upholding ethical and fair lending practices
• Managing customer inquiries professionally and escalating issues when necessary

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Preferred candidates have a finance-related college degree
• At least five years of direct experience in SBA lending is preferred
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business development and/or financial services
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office Suite
