Mortgage Manager Job Description:

Assists the Mortgage Manager in leading and managing Mortgage Loan Originators to achieve production goals, operational excellence, regional growth, and profitability. Maintains a personal pipeline of retail mortgage loans. Recruits, interviews, and trains top talent, while proactively retaining employees and managing performance. Actively participates in local and state mortgage banking, realtor, and builder trade associations, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of industry trends and current issues. Communicates business objectives, goals, and company performance results to staff. Promotes an effective sales environment through sales training, individual and team coaching, and creation of marketing materials.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Over two years of experience in Retail Mortgage Loan Origination.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Experienced in driving new business initiatives and managing client engagements.
• Thorough understanding of mortgage products, operational procedures, and market trends.
• Proficiency in sales strategies and techniques.
