Banking Relationship Officer

Job Description:

The Banking Relationship Officer supports FirstBank’s service excellence by handling transactions accurately and efficiently, identifying customer requirements, and recommending suitable banking products through a structured needs-based approach.

Qualifications:

Education requires a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification
At least one year of banking experience is preferred
Possession of a notary certification is considered an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

Assess customer needs and provide appropriate guidance while explaining bank products and services in line with established policies, brand standards, and service guidelines; refer clients to relevant banking partners when necessary.
Support customers with a range of transactions, including inquiries related to account balances, transaction history, service fees, and interest rate information.
Contribute to Financial Center operations by performing duties across Teller, Teller Manager, and Financial Service Representative roles as required.
Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and business clients to achieve branch and personal targets related to accounts, sales, and teller operations.
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service across all interactions in alignment with FirstBank standards.
Comply with all banking regulations, internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, including adherence to security protocols.
Maintain punctual and reliable attendance.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
