Job Summary:

In the role of a Portable Wealth Manager, one provides customized financial assistance to clients by helping them with their day-to-day banking requirements, establishing and overseeing accounts, and advising on suitable products and services.

Crucial responsibilities and duties:

Business Development:

• Quickly set up a regular flow for SBA business advancement in the sector, incorporating a variety of factors such as:
• Arranging phone discussions and managing follow-ups
• Client retention calls
• New client prospecting
• Conducting calls to reach out to individuals or organizations
• Networking events
• Expand and sustain a well-established COI network embodying community and business elites to enhance the referral process
• Handling sales duties, conducting credit assessments, structuring loans accurately, packaging and submitting SBA loan requests, interviewing clients, and evaluating character traits
• Source and cultivate original affiliations to enhance your entrepreneurial endeavors

Credit Acumen:

• Exhibits a deep understanding of business loan facilities, covering:
• Formulating appropriate terminology and products that address the specific business needs, asset lifecycle, and growth strategy
• Using financial data from statements and tax returns is essential in the assessment of creditworthiness and risk when considering lending to individuals and businesses
• Evaluating short- and long-term credit needs based on the rhythm of business sales cycles and prospective growth initiatives
• Offers education to prospective clients on the standards employed by banks for evaluating loan qualifications, SBA programs, and relevant official directives
• Teams up with attorneys, loan closing experts, and internal staff to ensure loans are closed and funded in a timely manner
• Handles the convergence of business needs and customer preferences while proactively managing potential risks
• Respects and follows the conduct code mandated by Seacoast Bank
• Acts as a trusted advisor for new SBA lenders seeking support and direction
• Maintains compliance with banking policies and procedures, particularly in relation to BSA, AML, and OFAC guidelines
• Screens loan applications and compiles essential applicant details while maintaining fair lending protocols and ethical sales strategies
• Deals with customer issues promptly and professionally, escalating concerns as deemed suitable

Education And Experience:

• Meeting the requirement for a high school diploma or its similar substitute is compulsory
• A college degree in a finance-related discipline is the desired qualification
• The preference is for candidates to have at least five years of directly relevant experience in SBA lending
• A decade or more of experience in business development and financial services is a prerequisite
• Proficiency demonstrated in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Skill in operating desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office applications
