Role Overview:

As a Floating Capital Coordinator, you will support the bank by managing liquidity, monitoring branch cash levels, and ensuring capital is available where needed. You will work closely with Relationship Bankers and branch teams to maintain optimal cash flow while supporting overall branch and organizational goals.

Fundamental Tasks and Obligations:

• Ensure branches have adequate cash on hand by monitoring and redistributing capital as needed across the network.
• Coordinate with Relationship Bankers to understand anticipated cash needs and support customer transactions without delays.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with BSA, CIP, and internal cash management policies while handling cash-related activities.
• Support consumer loan and deposit processing by facilitating smooth operational capital management.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve branch capital handling and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with branch teams, finance, and operations staff to maintain high levels of client satisfaction through seamless transaction support.
• Ensure all records and reporting related to cash management are accurate and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and bank policies.
• Provide professional and accurate service when responding to branch and customer needs regarding cash availability and transactions.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Ability to motivate, communicate, and present information effectively in one-on-one and team settings.
• Team-oriented approach to collectively ensure smooth banking operations in a dynamic environment.
• Capable of guiding branch staff in handling cash and operational tasks in the absence of branch management.

Education And/Or Experience:

• HS Diploma/GED required; additional education in finance, banking, or related fields is advantageous.
• At least 12 months of customer-facing or operational experience in banking, with a focus on accuracy and goal-oriented performance.
• Familiarity with cash management, banking operations, and compliance requirements is preferred.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Ability to leverage digital tools for cash monitoring, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Other Qualifications:

• Occasional travel for training, operational audits, or branch support may be required, with minimal overnight or out-of-town commitments.
• Ability to provide guidance and support to other branches or banking operations within the market.
