As the front-line leader of the branch, the Retail Banking Manager sets the standard for exceptional customer service and staff development, supporting associates while executing UMB's retail strategy. They oversee branch operations and are actively involved in customer transactions and other banking activities.

Transitioning towards Inspire Action, we emphasize motivating and empowering team members to step into leadership and influencer roles, transcending traditional branch management to actively partner with customers and colleagues.

Methods for Planning Your Daily Routine:

• Support associates in enhancing performance through coaching on proactive sales discussions, operational responsibilities, and customer engagement
• Provide guidance on navigating complex account maintenance challenges and resolving escalated customer issues efficiently
• Collaborate with internal partners including Small Business Officers, Mortgage Officers, and Private Wealth Managers
• Engage in ongoing education and training to meet personal sales and operational objectives

We Are Thrilled to Speak With You If:

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or comparable professional experience
• Have at least two years of experience in leadership, management, or associate development
• Hold at least two years of experience in banking/financial services, or an equivalent mix of education and professional practice
• Can obtain NMLS registration within 90 days if not already registered
• Have reliable transportation and availability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
