As a Business Client Manager, you will be instrumental in:

• Empowering our clients to thrive in both their personal lives and business endeavors by providing tailored financial solutions, educational opportunities, and valuable advice.
• Working in strategic collaboration with commercial lending business partners, private banking representatives, Retail Regional Managers, and Branch Managers to carry out sales strategies.
• Capacity to lead the direction of the company and devise strategies for fostering growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Reach quarterly/annual benchmarks by generating business in CI, CRE, mortgage lending, SBA loans, treasury solutions, deposit products, investment opportunities, and a variety of commercial and consumer services offered at East West Bank.
• Engage in collaboration with the Regional Manager and/or Branch Manager to establish and put into action marketing strategies that prioritize customer needs and aim to attract fresh business through activities like prospecting, reaching out, networking, and referrals.
• Sustain and deploy a detailed familiarity with the bank's credit criteria, client qualifications, and necessary business procedures to secure the completion of precise and comprehensive loan proposals for both commercial entities and individual borrowers.
• Take an active role in local and regional business affairs; plan and oversee specialized promotions and gatherings.
• Advise management on the appropriateness of the current competition policies and practices, where applicable.
• Educate customers on the versatility of our digital platforms for banking and investing, accommodating their preferences for time and method.
• Other assignments may need to be undertaken as necessary.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• The desired applicant will have a history of meeting sales goals and at least five years of experience in commercial lending or private banking.
• Thorough understanding of CI loans, SBA loans, or targeted lending within specific sectors is important.
• A solid grasp of banking operations, credit mechanisms, and deposit schemes, particularly in the context of cross-border engagements between the U.S. and Greater China, is preferred.
• Shows a high level of aptitude in analytics, marketing/sales, consulting, and negotiation competencies.
• Robust abilities in conveying messages through writing and speech.
• Demonstrate a preference for dynamic environments, a commitment to delivering results, and strong teamwork skills.
• Exhibiting a significant passion and proficiency in guiding, informing, and establishing links between team members, associates, and clients in the technology sector.
• Proficient in acquiring and adapting to fresh data and technological platforms.
