Job Description:

As a Branch Manager at PNC, you will be responsible for leading a retail banking branch with a focus on driving revenue growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence. This role involves managing branch priorities, developing employees, and delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all banking channels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute branch activities effectively to improve overall performance and manage priorities efficiently.
  • Increase revenue and strengthen customer loyalty through consultative conversations and tailored financial solutions.
  • Promote a seamless, multi-channel banking experience that ensures easy access for customers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve organizational and business goals.
  • Build a strong team by recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and developing employees.
  • Lead and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and improve customer engagement.
  • Drive branch revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within consumer and business segments.
  • Support business banking development through community engagement and strategic outreach.
  • Coach team members on consultative selling techniques to improve financial wellness outcomes and performance.
  • Demonstrate understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Ensure customers receive a consistent and high-quality experience through strong leadership and coaching.
  • Leverage technology to enhance customer interactions and provide advisory-based banking solutions.
  • Resolve customer issues effectively to ensure smooth branch operations and high satisfaction levels.
  • Promote an integrated and consistent customer experience aligned with PNC standards.
  • Attract, retain, and develop top talent through structured onboarding, coaching, and career development support.
  • Provide regular feedback to maintain high performance standards and employee growth.
  • Uphold PNC values and foster an inclusive, supportive workplace culture.
  • Manage operational, reputational, human capital, and business risks effectively.
  • Implement controls to reduce risks associated with sales practices and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • No strict requirement for a college degree; equivalent combinations of education, certifications, or military experience may be considered.
  • Strong leadership, accountability, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in banking operations, customer relationship management, and team development.
  • Ability to coach teams, delegate effectively, and drive performance outcomes.
  • Strong focus on customer experience, sales execution, and business growth.
  • No certifications or licenses required.
