As the C & I Commercial Services Manager, the individual is charged with serving as a trusted advisor to clients, providing a full range of banking solutions to help them achieve their financial objectives. Developing a network of referral sources and Centers of Influence is also a key aspect of the role through regular outreach efforts to generate new business opportunities. Moreover, managing a portfolio of relationships is vital, ensuring an exceptional client experience while effectively managing risk, credit quality, servicing, and more in accordance with Northwest standards alongside a portfolio management team.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Marketing is a prerequisite
• Proficient in account management with a track record of 5-6 years
• Having 5-6 years of experience consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Banking experience
• In-depth understanding and proficiency in C & I lending, loan servicing, and a variety of credit and non-credit solutions.
• The ability to negotiate adeptly is essential for determining the structure and pricing of loans.
• A crucial aspect of risk management is having the comprehension and awareness to anticipate potential dangers and take proactive measures to prevent or address them.
• Impressive skills in verbal, written, and relational communication.
• Competence in managing several responsibilities at once and prioritizing them wisely.

Essential Functions:

• Deepen and broaden existing relationships in the commercial banking realm to promote synergy and progress
• Actively pursuing and adeptly nurturing new relationships within the Northwest community
• Consistently engage with product partners to discuss cross-selling opportunities and referrals, aiming to deepen and expand client relationships
• Attain and go beyond budgetary aims assigned on an individual and regional level
• Be actively involved in community and professional networking events
• Create meaningful connections with influential figures in the industry
• Formulate and sustain a constant database of potential prospects while establishing a structured calendar for contacting and arranging meetings with leads, existing clients, and significant connections
• Inspire ongoing referrals from established clients for all sorts of products and services, as well as encourage clients and their staff to keep their personal banking interactions exclusively with Northwest
• Supervise a set of commercial loans that cater to a clientele comprising both credit and non-credit customers
• Offer loan proposals and suggestions to credit professionals, team leaders, and senior line of business executives when called upon
• Coordinate with credit and portfolio management to ensure that annual appraisals and line of credit renewals are done on schedule
• Guarantee that non-credit clients are equipped with the right treasury management and other interconnected business services, with risk evaluations that are accurate
• Pursue payments from accounts that are past due
• Stay abreast of client performance and evaluate risk by analyzing financial statements and associated credit documents continuously with Portfolio Management
• Partner with Portfolio Management to complete loan closings efficiently
• Check to ensure that all credit files are inclusive of updated financial statements, agency reports, and related documentation. Partner with Portfolio Management to ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, as well as Federal and State regulations
• Participate in ongoing sales, product, and credit education programs to enhance skills and knowledge
• Uphold Northwest's policies and procedures, along with federal/state regulations, to meet compliance standards
• Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency
• Working in unison with colleagues is crucial for accomplishing tasks efficiently in the workplace
• Make effective use of the equipment located at the site
