Job Description: Float Personal Banker Associate

Relationship Bankers play a crucial role in fostering long-term customer relationships, driving sales, and promoting financial literacy among clients. As a Float Personal Banker Associate, you will support multiple branches by providing personalized banking solutions and expert guidance to clients.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensure clients are informed about and recommended the full range of bank resources, including in-branch services, digital tools, and strategic business partnerships.
• Achieve personal objectives by conducting appropriate levels of face-to-face and outbound calls to share valuable solutions and recommendations based on a needs-focused philosophy.
• Perform all tasks related to opening and closing accounts, guiding customers in selecting appropriate accounts, conducting account research, and adhering to BSA and CIP regulations.
• Assist with consumer loan requests: collect applications, stay updated on loan procedures and guidelines, and support monitoring of consumer loan portfolios within the branch network.
• Identify customer needs and refer them to a partner-focused team that works with small business owners, corporate partners, institutional clients, and mortgage/financial advisors.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction by actively engaging customers and ensuring a superior customer service experience.
• Validate that all departmental documents and operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including completing required compliance training.
• Process customer transactions and requests professionally, engaging in meaningful conversations to understand client needs and offer suitable solutions.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to motivate and communicate information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and colleagues.
• Embrace teamwork as a strategy to support customers effectively in a dynamic banking environment.
• Supervise and coach branch staff according to standard protocols when the AFCM is unavailable.

Education and/or Experience:

• HS Diploma/GED
• One year of customer-facing experience with a strong emphasis on meeting objectives
• Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office programs
• Leverage social media platforms to enhance brand awareness and gather market insights

Other Qualifications:

• Periodic travel for meetings, training, and supporting bank conversions and acquisitions, with minimal overnight or out-of-town commitments
• Ability to provide guidance and support to other banking institutions in the market
