You will be a pivotal figure in your capacity as a Banking Product Specialist by:

• Governing, sustaining, and obtaining long-term mutually advantageous connections with our clientele.
• Understanding and pinpointing clients' lasting financial requirements to provide personalized product and service solutions.
• Using the latest technology offerings of the bank to fulfill the evolving needs of our client base.

Responsibilities include:

• Reaching the set sales goals for the team and branch for each quarter and year, through activities such as customer intelligence analysis, commercial real estate transactions, small business administration lending operations, mortgage services, treasury management solutions, deposit handling, wealth management investment product sales, international deposit and wire transfer services, and various commercial and consumer product offerings.
• Sourcing and nurturing loans such as Home Equity Line of Credit, Residential Financing, and Commercial Financing.
• Compliance with annual updates and regulatory mandates for Mortgage Loan Originators (MLO) necessitates a clear understanding of interest rates, financing options, and mathematical calculations to effectively cater to potential mortgage clients.
• Maintains a detailed knowledge of the deposit, loan, and supplementary products offered by the bank, as well as the necessary qualifications.
• Assists clients in managing their financial transactions, including processing cash withdrawals, making deposits, transferring funds, paying off loans/credit card balances, sending wire transfers, and exchanging foreign currencies.
• Exhibits a strong drive and commitment to producing favorable outcomes while always considering clients' best interests.
• Showcases strong critical thinking and adept problem-solving capabilities to meet clients' expectations.
• Collaborates with colleagues and various lines of business to offer customers the most appropriate products based on their specific needs.
• Demonstrates confidence and proficiency in communication while interacting with customers.
• Skilled at quickly familiarizing oneself with products, services, and technologies and informing customers on how to engage in banking transactions online, via mobile apps, and self-service portals.
• Knowledgeable in using digital resources and technologies to enhance clients' digital banking experiences to the fullest extent.
• Illustrates a strong motivation and capacity to influence, educate, and establish connections with technology users.
• Completes other tasks as mandated.

Qualifications include:

• A high school diploma or its equivalent, such as a GED, is a prerequisite; a Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
• Preferably looking for candidates with over two years of experience in customer service, teller duties, sales, and Mortgage Loan Officer roles in the banking or financial services field.
• Thorough familiarity with branch operational procedures.
• Established history in a consultative sales position in an associated field, illustrating effectiveness in acquiring new customers, enhancing client relationships, and providing impactful deliverables.
• Recognized for their professionalism and thorough approach, showcasing strong follow-up skills.
• Adroit at promptly integrating novel processes and technological advancements.
• Knowledgeable about branch technology, mobile banking features, and online banking capabilities.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities coupled with strong customer service skills.
