As a Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in:

• Improving the lives of our clients and supporting the success of their businesses through financial solutions, education, and advice.
• Strategically partnering with commercial lending business associates, private banking professionals, Retail Regional Managers, and Branch Managers to implement sales strategies.
• Driving the company's priorities and crafting strategies to foster growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Achieve quarterly and annual goals by driving business growth in various financial products and services, including CI, CRE, mortgages, SBA loans, treasury management, deposits, investments, and other commercial and consumer offerings available at East West Bank.
• Collaborate with Regional Manager and/or Branch Manager to develop and implement customer-focused strategic marketing plans that generate new business through prospecting, external outreach, networking, and referrals.
• Maintain and apply a deep understanding of the bank's credit policies, client eligibility, and operational procedures to ensure the submission of accurate and complete loan packages for both business and individual clients.
• Actively engage in community and regional business functions; coordinate and manage targeted campaigns and events.
• Provide feedback to management on competition policies and practices, when appropriate.
• Educate customers on how to use our digital platforms for banking and investing according to their preferred methods and convenience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial lending or private banking, with a proven sales track record.
• Strong understanding of CI loans, SBA loans, or industry-focused lending.
• Extensive knowledge of financial institutions, credit, and deposit products, with preference for experience in cross-border transactions between the U.S. and Greater China.
• Robust analytical, marketing/sales, consulting, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High energy, results-oriented, and works well in a collaborative environment.
• Strong desire and ability to influence, educate, and connect with team members, partners, and customers regarding technology.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms.
