Job Description for Finance Operations Analyst:

An enthusiastic and detail-driven Finance Operations Analyst is being sought to join our Wholesale Finance Team. This role will encompass tasks like forecasting, budgeting, completing end-of-month procedures, and preparing reports and information accurately and promptly for internal and external utilization related to the relevant business sectors.

Responsibilities for Finance Operations Analyst:

• Takes charge of monthly prediction and annual financial planning processes through financial systems and spreadsheet models, collaborating with Senior Leadership to design accurate and actionable financial strategies.
• Engage in variance assessment, identify primary drivers influencing performance opportunities and risks, and provide detailed explanations to clarify financial results to the management team.
• Convey financial data to Senior Leadership.
• Establish and sustain in-depth financial models and dashboards for tracking important performance indicators and financial metrics.
• Produce financial reports for senior executives regularly, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, incorporating graphs and visual presentations to highlight patterns and enable better understanding.
• Help different stakeholders across the organization by keeping track of business drivers, financial implications, and progress towards strategic objectives.
• Team up with Accounting, FP&A, and other units to ensure uniformity of information in both financial plans and operational strategies.
• Complete all other tasks as designated.

Qualifications for Finance Operations Analyst:

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Possessing between 3 and 5 years of hands-on experience.
• Solid comprehension of financial principles coupled with a demonstrated aptitude for financial modeling and analysis; proven ability to interpret financial statements.
• Strong presentation capabilities demonstrated through the clear and concise communication of intricate concepts.
• Engaging with various internal groups and external partners is a central aspect of this position, showcasing the need for a collaborative orientation.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, experience with Hyperion Essbase, Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI tools is desirable.
• Capability to balance multiple assignments and fulfill deadlines promptly.
