The function of a Banking Operations Specialist is essential in:

• Directing, preserving, and securing enduring win-win relationships with our clients.
• Identifying and understanding the long-term financial needs of clients to provide custom-tailored solutions in products and services.
• Employing the bank's advanced technology products to serve the growing needs of our clientele.

Responsibilities include:

• Meeting quarterly and yearly sales targets for team and branch performance in various areas like customer intelligence, commercial real estate, small business administration, mortgages, managing treasury, handling deposits, offering wealth management investment products, dealing with international deposits and wire transfers, and promoting other commercial and consumer services.
• Obtaining and nurturing loans such as HELOC, Residential Mortgage, and Commercial Mortgage.
• Adhering to yearly renewals and regulatory rules for MLO professionals is crucial for grasping interest rates, funding mechanisms, and mathematical formulas in order to provide top-notch assistance to potential mortgage clients.
• Retains an in-depth understanding of the financial institution's deposit, loan, and extra services and the associated qualifying conditions.
• Offers support to individuals seeking help with financial matters like withdrawing cash, depositing funds, transferring money, repaying loans/credit card bills, wiring funds, and exchanging foreign currencies.
• Displays a keen interest in achieving results that benefit clients through a motivated and proactive work approach.
• Applies sound critical thinking and problem-solving skills to adequately address clients' needs.
• Partners with team members and different departments to suggest products that best suit customers based on their preferences.
• Demonstrates confidence and proficiency in communication while interacting with customers.
• Capable of swiftly grasping information about products, services, and technologies and coaching customers on executing banking transactions digitally, using mobile apps, and self-service portals.
• Experienced in maximizing the effectiveness of clients' digital banking experiences through the use of digital resources and technologies.
• Displays a compelling inclination and proficiency in guiding, informing, and fostering connections with technology users.
• Accomplishes tasks beyond the specified duties.

Qualifications include:

• Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's degree being desirable.
• Preferably looking for candidates with over two years of experience in customer service, teller duties, sales, and Mortgage Loan Officer roles in the banking or financial services field.
• Proficient understanding of branch operations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a consultative sales capacity within a related sector, showcasing the ability to onboard new clientele, cultivate strong client rapport, and drive tangible achievements.
• Known for being meticulous and professional, adept at diligent follow-up procedures.
• Effective at promptly embracing new processes and technological innovations.
• Competent in branch technology, mobile banking software, and online banking applications.
• Demonstrated adeptness in problem-solving, decision-making, and providing exceptional customer support.
