Rockland Trust is actively recruiting for a Business Client Manager position, emphasizing a customer-focused and vibrant attitude for their Investment Management Group.

The core role of the Business Client Manager revolves around establishing and nurturing strong relationships with affluent clients, delivering personalized services to IMG's clientele, and aiding in the expansion of our business by working closely with IMG financial advisors and establishing connections with influential figures. As the primary point of contact for clients, the Business Client Manager is entrusted with understanding their financial objectives and devising tailored solutions to fulfill all their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and sustain associations with high-net-worth individuals, recognizing their financial targets, tolerance for risk, and investment predilections.
• Deliver individualized financial guidance and suggestions following a detailed review of clients' financial positions.
• Partner with our IMG internal advisors to explore financial and retirement planning, investment management, personal insurance, estate and trust services, special needs assistance, and top-notch banking techniques.
• Act as a valued confidant to customers, delivering exceptional service and confirming that their investment goals are in line with their broader financial targets.
• Be proactive in recognizing opportunities to strengthen client ties, raise managed assets, and attract fresh business opportunities through referrals and networking efforts.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory shifts, and market changes, and effectively communicate this information to clients.
• Responsible for managing accounts on a daily basis, comprising investment portfolios, revocable trusts, and estates.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory mandates and internal rules by accurately documenting client interactions, investment decisions, and retirement planning aims.

Prerequisites and Relevant Experience:

• Applicants should hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science, with a Master's degree seen as beneficial.
• The ideal candidate will have accumulated a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the financial services industry or a related area, focusing on trust administration, portfolio management, financial planning, and estate settlement.
• Verified experience in creating and maintaining client rapport.
• Promise to serving as a fiduciary in the wealth management sector.
• A solid grasp of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management principles, with the capability to articulate intricate financial concepts to clients clearly and concisely.
• Skilled in creating rapport and effectively communicating with clients to grasp their needs and deliver personalized investment recommendations and strategies.
• Shown proficiency in operating successfully in a quick-moving, vibrant context, with an emphasis on providing outstanding customer support and enhancing business performance.
• Candidates with trust certifications, enrollment at Trust Schools, law degrees, and the CFP designation will be given preference.
