Role Overview:Business Banking Officer

The role of a Business Banking Officer is focused on revolutionizing service delivery to enhance customer satisfaction levels, under the direct leadership of the Market Business Service Officer (MBSO). They are tasked with supervising Support Professionals and managing the implementation of business and service operations in assigned branch locations.

Education & Experience:

• Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree or an equal educational qualification
• Previous industry experience
• Possession of active qualifications such as Series 7 (GS), Series 9 and 10 (SU), and Series 66 (AG/RA) or either Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) is a prerequisite
• Further permissions as directed by managerial authorities

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong communication skills involve being adept at conveying thoughts clearly in writing and speech
• Sharp eye for details
• Capability to manage and resolve complex needs effectively, escalating as deemed necessary
• The skill to detect challenges and tendencies to foresee variations and present all-encompassing resolutions
• Exhibiting a strong track record in leadership and the cultivation of individual capabilities
• It is preferred that candidates have previous experience in a supervisory capacity
• Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities
• Exceptional talent in mediating and resolving disputes proficiently
• Proficiency in managing associations, inspiring, and guiding teams within the marketplace
• Knowing the risk and compliance policies of an organization is important for employees
• Aptitude for strategic planning

Key responsibilities include:

• Improving communication and training methods for Service Professionals
• Engaging with Market Sales and Risk teams to secure effective implementation throughout the enterprise
• Aiding the MBSO in the successful delivery of service-oriented endeavors
• Direct the division in achieving the company's strategic objectives by motivating and mentoring employees to embrace new behaviors, with an emphasis on uniformity, quality, and conformity
• Manage, train, and monitor a team of Support and Service Professionals
• Recognize the importance of investing in the professional growth and career advancement of Service and Support Professionals to improve performance and job satisfaction
• Support the smooth transition of new hires, like Financial Advisors and their Support Professionals, by aiding in the interviewing, selection, and onboarding procedures
• Engage in a partnership with MBSO and HR to handle people-related matters, like conducting reviews, overseeing performance, and dealing with conflicts within the workforce
• Sustain strong ties with key associates within the Branch, Market, Region, and Home Office; join team discussions, regional, and national communication channels
• Organize routine personal meetings with Support Professionals to offer coaching, define career aspirations, handle work duties, and promote team unity
• Monitor and coordinate the support team's availability and assistance for financial advisors in the branch
• Pinpoint recognition chances for Support Professionals through the dissemination of best practices, success narratives, and accomplishments
• Support the development of a branch atmosphere in harmony with Company values, emphasizing diversity and inclusiveness
