Job Description:

The Bank Examiner role will provide services for Banking Center customers and assist the team in achievement of sales, service, and operation goals, based on Webster's Strategic Guidelines. The role will process all customer related financial transactions in accordance with the rules, regulations, and guidelines of the Bank. Additionally, this role uses excellent communication and active listening skills to learn about the customer's financial needs, establish trust, optimize sales opportunities, generate leads, and provide quality customer service as well as develop and maintain a strong partnership with various business segments through collaboration and communication. Ability to supervise and coach fellow relationship Bankers

Responsibilities:

• Utilizing the tools and resources at disposal allows for accurate and timely responses to customers' needs
• Understanding the needs of customers and suggesting fitting financial solutions and products through tailored discussions to forge and enrich connections.
• Conduct everyday teller operations such as depositing funds, withdrawing cash, cashing checks, repaying loans, and other relevant transactions.
• Support the division of the market strategy by introducing sales, retention, and various banking projects to effectively meet the growth and profitability targets of the Banking Center.
• Meeting or surpassing sales, service, and operational objectives as an individual and within a team is anticipated
• Remains in alignment with Federal and State regulations in addition to internal bank protocols and processes. Achieving or outperforming branch audit standards and evaluations of operational effectiveness
• Provide supervision for colleagues in the banking center, offering coaching and support to bankers. Serve as a mentor and assist in the integration of new employees into the team.

Educational Attainment, Career Highlights, and Skill Set:

• The essential requirement is a high school diploma or GED; however, candidates with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree are preferred.
• Experience in customer sales and service for 2-4 years is required, with preference given to those with 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Demonstrated ability in leading, coaching, and motivating others.
• Proficiency in all products and services within the company
• Ensures familiarity with all systems used for branch transaction processing.
• Manifests strong customer service skills and a talent for building teamwork, which leads to a positive working ambiance.
• Being able to work on a flexible and/or rotating schedule, which may involve weekends, extended hours, and traveling to alternate Banking Centers, is a requirement.
