The role of a Banking Operations Manager encompasses overseeing a team that addresses customer financial needs through personalized advice and exceptional service. The Manager is responsible for achieving specific financial targets, such as revenue, loan, and deposit growth, by recruiting and fostering staff to exceed their performance benchmarks. Additionally, the Manager is required to engage with the community, drive business development, manage expenses, and ensure the operational efficiency of the banking center.
Responsibilities:
Oversees the accomplishment of targets, client support, advertising, and day-to-day activities at the bank branch:
Teach and exemplify to team members how to inform clients about all the resources provided by the bank, such as the standard services found in physical branches, online features, and additional resources from business partners
Conduct regular sessions with the team to cover various areas including time management, effective communication strategies, monitoring goal achievement, addressing standard operational tasks, reinforcing bank security measures, and understanding operational guidelines. These discussions are designed to enhance the skills, proficiency, and effectiveness of employees
Recruit, instruct, enhance, assess, and guide personnel to guarantee they meet the standards set for their positions
Ensure the accomplishment of personal, team, and organizational targets by proposing beneficial solutions and advice derived from a philosophy centered on addressing needs
Head a team that prioritizes partnerships with small businesses, large corporations, institutions, and professionals in the mortgage and financial advisory fields
Aid in consumer loan inquiries: encourage loan applications; stay up-to-date on loan guidelines and steps; oversee the consumer loan collection at branch(es); offer guidance to staff members in effectively dealing with consumer loan requests
Tasked with enhancing existing and cultivating novel relationships with small business owners in the market through external client interaction
Uphold a standard of elevated client satisfaction by preserving and nurturing highly engaged staff members
Verify that all departmental records and tasks are conducted in accordance with relevant legislation, guidelines, protocols, and regulations pertaining to this role, which includes fulfilling the necessary compliance training requirements
Carry out customer demands and transactions effectively, making sure to interact in a friendly and precise manner, while also engaging in meaningful discussions to pinpoint needs and offer suitable recommendations

Qualifications:
