Job Description for Client Relationship Manager:

The key responsibility of the Client Relationship Manager for Asset Based Lending at First Horizon is client handling, generating income from ABL deals, and enhancing the ABL client base. The preferred candidate will be a motivated self-starter capable of teamwork with other colleagues, credit peers, and product associates within the firm. Having extensive connections with leading industry management teams, having access to executives at the C-suite level, possessing credit acumen, and having the ability to lead deal teams, manage client interactions, and aid in the line of business's expansion are essential characteristics for this role. Experience in ABL banking is obligatory.

Responsibilities for Client Relationship Manager:

• Direct relationship-focused teams responsible for consistent interaction, evaluation, and connection establishment with fresh and established clientele.
• Establish and foster relationships with new prospects to generate revenue opportunities that are unique to the institution.
• Strengthen and broaden established client partnerships by offering a variety of supplementary financial products.
• Position yourself as the forefront authority in the field to analyze industry trends, changes, potential threats, and possibilities for growth.
• Assist underwriters in evaluating the financial standing and creditworthiness of potential borrowers to reach informed loan decisions and suggest competitive terms and pricing strategies that balance risk and return.
• Take charge of overseeing the screening process for new opportunities and the teams involved in executing deals.
• Stay well-informed about the bank's lending guidelines and compliance regulations.
• Provide mentorship and educational support for junior staff.
