Job Overview:

Client Relationship Bankers are responsible for nurturing enduring client relationships by providing unparalleled client service and personalized financial strategies to support clients in accomplishing their financial targets. They provide expert financial insights and often collaborate with internal bank team members. Client Relationship Bankers are expected to actively participate in the community and engage with clients through various banking channels while educating them on digital and traditional banking solutions to fulfill their banking needs.

Qualifications:

• Completion of high school or a GED is a prerequisite.
• Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in banking or a successful sales background.
• Over the past 2 years, the individual has focused on nurturing relationships with current and potential clients, attaining objectives related to sales performance, and establishing networks for referrals within a banking or retail setting, with proficiency in client assistance and handling of cash transactions being essential.
• Experience working in a lending capacity that involves tasks related to loan origination and processing.
• Comprehensive understanding of consumer and business offerings.
• Displayed mastery in the realms of consumer and corporate lending.
• Demonstrates a clear determination to aid clients in accomplishing their financial aspirations.
• Being able to interpret cash flow, financial statements, and market volatility is crucial.
• Displays motivation and competence in advancing technology expertise across diverse delivery channels, including online banking interfaces, bill settlement features, electronic document services, mobile banking applications, ATMs, and business financial management tools.
• Always looks for ways to refine communication skills, particularly in presentations.
• Exceptional skills in verbal and written communication, as well as the aptitude to present information to gatherings.
• Skill to conduct outbound phone calls, both in face-to-face interactions and through virtual means.
• Can lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds and stand for extended durations.
• This job might entail acting as a bank MLO for open-end transactions. All MLOs must complete registration to meet the requirements of the SAFE Act. This position is not permitted to operate as a bank closed-end MLO.

Responsibilities:

• Encourage client interaction and participation in financial assessments and business reviews to identify resolutions and identify any extra financial necessities. Offer advice and ensure that obligations to clients are met.
• Engage in consistent interaction with both external and internal clientele, offering exceptional service that meets the bank's high client service benchmarks.
• The key team member tasked with opening fresh deposit accounts and creating consumer loans on behalf of the branch.
• Creates consumer loans alongside small business loans and plays a proactive role in establishing and nurturing a varied loan and deposit portfolio.
• Provides information to customers regarding the services available through internal partners, which may include Treasury Management services.
• Initiates forward-thinking outbound phone conversations with both current and potential consumer and small business clientele. Works alongside the branch manager to organize proactive meetings for business development within the community.
• Builds a network of potential clients through in-branch and external business growth initiatives.
• Engage in partnerships with various teams across the bank and within the branch.
• Providing individual support and solutions for client concerns regarding digital products and services.
• Shows support for the community by being involved in events that take place outside of typical business hours, on weekends, volunteering, and backing community initiatives.
• Shows a commitment to cultivating and exemplifying the DO RIGHT TOGETHER ethos in daily interactions and actions.
• Tasks will be assigned as needed.
