Job Description:

Administer and synchronize human resources duties, involving employment procedures and staff rapport.

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or similar credential is necessary.
• The ideal candidate will have accumulated a minimum of ten years in a relevant role, or an equivalent amalgam of educational and hands-on experience.
• Sound understanding of recruiting practices and leading recruitment and induction programs effectively.
• Impressive track record in supervising and inspiring teams.
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations is important for staying in alignment with legal parameters governing human resources practices.
• Proficient in organization, capable of multitasking across various projects concurrently and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Competence in functioning individually and collaboratively in various workgroups and assemblies.
• Favored engagement with ADP Workforce Now Payroll Application.
• Adept at working with Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, enabling seamless interaction with individuals at different ranks within the organization.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, with the capability to draft reports and business letters with clarity and relevance.
• Having the capacity to make well-founded decisions in a timely manner.
• Flexible, meticulous, and skilled at managing a variety of tasks simultaneously.
• Displaying a resolute dedication to excellence and the preservation of high criteria.

Specific Job Functions:

• Administer the posting of job openings, facilitate interviews, and conduct thorough evaluations of prospective hires.
• Administer the orientation and educational sessions for freshly appointed employees.
• Partner with supervisors in handling the hiring, terminations, and disciplinary procedures for their team.
• Assist in managing the HR Generalist/Benefits Coordinator and supporting the Training Manager in updating and implementing Human Resource policies and procedures.
• Support employees in addressing their concerns and offer guidance as required, such as career path counseling.
• Assist with devising approaches to maintain a positive relationship between employers and employees, ensuring a conducive environment for elevated employee morale and motivation.
• Advise personnel on how the bank's discipline system operates and manage the process of improving the performance of employees who are not meeting standards.
• Assist in managing the payroll process and preparing related payroll reports. Maintain personnel records for all employees.
• Help is available to facilitate the Affirmative Action Plan process and gather data for EEO-1 and VETS 4212 reports.
• Help with the upkeep of the Performance Evaluation Software that is responsible for the submission of quarterly reports to the State.
• Provide frequent briefs to the Human Resources Director about the HR and Training Department's initiatives and functions.
• Provide guidance for the EAP Program and the Ergonomic/Safety Program.
• Accountable for overseeing vendors within the department.
• Assistance is needed with the quarterly validation of the 941 statement and the Record of Deposits.
• Assist in the audit procedures within the Human Resources Department.
• Offer assistance with the biannual reviews of NMLS.
• Mentor, develop, and advise employees while providing the necessary coaching and support. Be ready to substitute for the HR Generalist / Benefits Coordinator and Training Manager whenever necessary.
• Operate as the United Way Charity Contribution Facilitator.
• Member of the MBA and NHBA Human Resource Benefits Committee.
