Job Overview:

The Corporate Banker's primary responsibility is to ensure a superb customer journey by engaging in sales, service, and online communication with both Consumer and Business Banking clientele. They play a crucial role in managing daily branch functions, addressing customer service and sales demands, and coordinating customer meetings to pinpoint requirements and delegate complex issues to suitable staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster customer interaction by informing them about the range of Consumer and Business Banking solutions offered. Offer personalized recommendations to meet specific customer needs and advocate for the adoption of digital banking functionalities.
• Appointment scheduling and consultations aim to oversee client meetings, whether they are planned or spontaneous, in order to recognize their financial needs and enable a seamless introduction to appropriate banking experts for challenging issues.
• Reach out to clients in a proactive manner to enhance customer retention and foster the growth of relationships.
• Lobby Control: Engage in lobby control by welcoming patrons, handling inquiries, and assuming responsibility for promptly addressing pressing banking matters.
• Support daily branch operations by assisting with customer transactions, resolving overdraft concerns, and maintaining conformity with internal procedures. Carry out operational tasks when necessary.
• Maintain Compliance and Risk Management: Staying informed about Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols. Detect and raise awareness of potential fraud incidents. Confirming compliance with operational and regulatory criteria.
• Customer Resolution: Manage customer grievances efficiently by recording them accurately and tracking progress. Guarantee timely and satisfactory resolution of customer problems.
• Sales Referrals pertain to the process of spotting sales prospects and guiding clients to the right banking collaborators for tailored product resolutions.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch support and promptly solve customer problems.
• Boost sales performance and enrich customer interactions at the branch location.
• Flexibility to handle a range of tasks within the division, such as commencing account openings and managing loan initiation, in addition to resolving issues and conducting transaction processing.
• Show empathy towards customers, make them the focal point of interactions, be open to changes, and demonstrate proficiency in digital tools during customer communications.

Meeting the educational and experiential qualifications:

• Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent, GED.
• Candidates should have at least one year of experience in retail sales, call center work, customer service, or telesales.
• Effective verbal and social communication aptitude.
• Skill in navigating tough customer dialogues and differing customer demands.
• Well-organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Skill in handling stress within a dynamic team environment and maintaining productivity.
• Competence in utilizing online tools and resources.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Being bilingual as per the needs of the branch.
• Established track record in sales performance or generating referrals.
• Physical Requirements:
• Being able to maintain a standing position for a prolonged time.
• Extended engagement of hands and fingers for a prolonged duration.
• Capacity to elevate items ranging from light to heavy (5-30 lbs) in weight.
• Capacity to interpret tiny print.
• Skill in communicating with customers directly on-site.
