What You'll Do:
Provide a pleasant initial experience for customers entering the branch by warmly greeting them and directing them to the colleague best suited to help with their needs.
Engage in continuous customer assistance, demonstrating proficient, effective, and polite customer service in face-to-face interactions and telephone interactions.
Aid customers in identifying the Rockland Trust banking services that align with their individual financial goals.
Ensure customer needs are met by carrying out tasks with precision, such as processing deposits, facilitating withdrawals, accepting payments, verifying cash, and conducting other financial transactions.
Engage in decision-making discussions with your supervisor, with the chance for more extensive decision-making tasks as you improve your understanding and skills.
Partner with the training team and branch associates to grasp these duties, and complete the Teller Training successfully at Rockland Trust.
Attend to any other assignments as directed by the managerial staff.
Required Qualifications:
Fulfilling the educational criteria involves achieving either a high school diploma or its comparable counterpart.
Profound skills in verbal and written communication.
Experienced in utilizing computers and technology effectively to contribute to the achievement of business goals.
Having a sales-focused and service-oriented personality.
Skill in preserving a professional appearance with grace and proficiency.
Nurturing an optimistic attitude towards interactions with customers and team members.
Possessing the capability to handle the normal office demands, including long periods of standing and ongoing assistance to customers.
Capability in the handling and transporting of weights up to 50 pounds.
Preparedness and aptitude to adjust to a flexible work schedule, including weekends, in response to customer requests.
Revealing the knack to adeptly complete our training curriculum
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Individuals applying need to have 1-2 years of experience working as a teller or in positions that involve cash handling and customer service.
