Job Description:

As a Senior Float Banker (SFB), you will be responsible for building, expanding, and retaining existing client relationships while providing an exceptional client experience. Senior Float Bankers provide expert financial solutions to current and prospective clients by assessing their financial needs and offering solutions through bank products and services to help clients achieve their current and future financial goals. Senior Float Bankers are experts in marketing Simmons solutions through daily interactions, outbound calls, client visits, networking events, and periodic 'At Work' events. They are expected to meet or exceed their individual and branch goals. Additionally, they may assist with account service, teller transactions, problem resolution, and other banking activities. All positions receive training on required products, services, needs-based conversations, and tools necessary for the role.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

• Educate customers about the full range of bank resources, including in-branch services, digital tools, and partnerships with other business entities.
• Achieve individual objectives through the appropriate volume of in-person and outbound calls to provide valuable solutions and recommendations based on a needs-focused approach.
• Handle all duties related to opening and closing accounts, assist customers in account selection, review account details, and comply with BSA and CIP requirements.
• Assist with consumer loan applications: facilitate loan requests, maintain knowledge of loan procedures and policies, and support management of consumer loan accounts across branches.
• Identify customer needs and refer them to a partner-focused team serving small businesses, corporate clients, institutions, mortgage professionals, and financial advisors.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through active engagement and delivering an exceptional customer service experience.
• Ensure departmental documents and operations comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including completing mandatory compliance training.
• Provide excellent customer service by handling requests and transactions professionally, engaging in authentic conversations to identify needs and offer appropriate solutions.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to motivate and communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and colleagues.
• Adopt a team-centered approach to support clients in a fast-paced banking environment.
• Guide and supervise the branch team in line with established protocols in the absence of the AFCM.

Education and/or Experience:

• HS Diploma/GED
• One year of customer-facing experience focused on goal achievement
• Valid registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office programs
• Leverage social media platforms to increase brand visibility and gather market insights

Other Qualifications:

• Occasional travel is required for meetings, training sessions, and assisting with bank conversions and acquisitions, with minimal overnight or out-of-town requirements.
• Ability to provide guidance and support to other banking institutions within the market.
