Job Description:

The Wealth Planning Advisor identifies, engages, acquires, and retains high net worth clients and prospects in holistic wealth management planning. Serves as a primary relationship manager for high net worth clients and families, while coordinating advice and activities with other members of the Wealth team. Determines and develops revenue-producing opportunities in multiple product lines to achieve growth and profitability goals through a diversified financial planning based approach. Serves as a Brand Ambassador by representing and promoting the Wealth line of business within the Bank and across the communities served.

Responsibilities:

• Client Acquisition - Identifies and attracts new clients to the Bank's wealth offerings through direct prospecting efforts, client referrals, and by partnering with Bank associates. Builds and cultivates strategic partnerships with centers of influence to enhance acquisition efforts. Responsible for external networking and market development.
• Relationship Management - Serves as a primary point of contact and advocate for high net worth prospects and clients. Maintains current knowledge and awareness of client circumstances, conditions, and overall relationship with the Bank to develop appropriate wealth plans. Represents the full services offering to clients, including investments, banking, financial planning, insurance, and trust services. Develops and executes a high-touch, client-centric experience to maintain and expand existing client relationships. Assists in the planning and facilitation of client events.
• Financial Advisory Support - Provides clients and prospects with expert wealth management advice. Formulates strategic, extensive, and long-term plans to meet the financial needs and objectives of high net worth clients. Identifies suitable products, services, and solutions based on client needs, wants, and objectives. Collaborates with other team members within the department to offer ongoing advice, products, and services that adapt to the evolving needs of clients.
• Engaging in collaboration fosters effective partnerships with Bank stakeholders to reinforce the department's strategic approach. It requires active involvement with experts from various business areas to ensure the synchronized delivery of wealth management products and services to clients.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in acquiring clients, asset gathering, and providing comprehensive banking and financial planning advice
• Client Acquisition experience
• Asset Gathering experience
• Well-versed in the creation of thorough financial strategies that cover all facets of financial management
• Banking experience
• Investment Management experience
• Insurance Planning experience
• Skill in Trust and Estate Structuring
• The favored designation is Advanced Advisor/Planning, underscoring proficiency in financial planning
• Series 7 license
• The Series 65 or 66 license is a pivotal step for financial professionals aiming to comply with regulatory requirements in the investment advisory field
• Becoming licensed in State Life & LTC Insurance entails meeting the set requirements and guidelines as established by the state
