Financial Advisor

Job Description:

Financial Advisors are based within bank branches and work collaboratively across multiple branches while managing an assigned book of business. Advisors execute an advice and planning strategy to help clients achieve their savings, investing, and retirement goals. Responsibilities:

• Consults with clients on investment and insurance strategies, and develops personalized financial plans.
• Grows and maintains an investment and insurance book of business.
• Owns the client experience by handling sales and service efficiently, identifying opportunities, and making referrals to internal business partners as appropriate.
• Acquires, expands, and maintains client relationships through business development and networking.
• Increases client loyalty and share of wallet by delivering an exceptional client experience.
• Applies product and procedural knowledge to resolve client issues efficiently and appropriately.
• Develops and implements investment and insurance strategies, determining suitable products to support client goals.
• Provides sound financial recommendations and guidance based on client needs and objectives.
• Monitors financial plans and recommends changes as needed.
• Coaches and educates branch staff and internal business partners to identify investment opportunities.
• Drives investment education and visibility among branch staff.
• Partners with branch managers and investment sales associates to lead branch efforts in achieving investment results.
• Maintains effective communication with internal and external partners to drive referral activity.
• Regularly reviews business results and pipeline management with branch managers and partners.
• Meets service level agreements for lead and referral follow-up.
• Adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of education, job-specific certifications, and relevant experience (including military service) may be considered.
• Strong skills in client prospecting, relationship building, credit risk analysis, financial analysis, financial modeling, public speaking, and sales activities.
• Effective coaching, communication, and customer experience management skills.
