Job Description:

The Client Service Banker is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships by providing personalized financial guidance, banking solutions, and exceptional customer service. This role focuses on assisting clients with their banking needs, strengthening existing relationships, identifying opportunities to support financial goals, referring clients to specialized banking partners, promoting digital banking solutions, and delivering an excellent banking experience while contributing to community engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients.
• Understand client financial needs and provide guidance on appropriate banking products and services.
• Assist clients with account opening, deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other banking transactions.
• Introduce clients to consumer and small business banking solutions and connect them with Mortgage, Investments, Wealth Management, and other specialized partners.
• Conduct proactive client outreach through follow-up calls, onboarding activities, marketing campaigns, and community events.
• Process transactions accurately while following bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Address client service concerns and provide account maintenance and support.
• Educate clients on digital banking solutions, including online banking, mobile banking, and ATM services.
• Follow security procedures and complete required training to support fraud prevention efforts.
• Support branch goals through new account generation, lending referrals, client retention, and service excellence.
• Participate in community outreach and networking activities to represent the bank.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum one year of client service, relationship-based consultation, or consultative sales experience (banking experience preferred).
• Experience with deposits, account servicing, new account opening, and consumer lending is preferred.
• Eligible for NMLS registration or currently registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
