Client Operations Associates are at the forefront of refining the client experience, setting a new benchmark for service excellence within the organization. Through their active involvement in business growth and client engagement, they play a significant role in maximizing the firm's potential. This position thrives on a comprehensive knowledge of company procedures, regulations, and competencies to provide clients with a holistic view of the firms offerings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Support:
Cultivate and improve client relationships by engaging in ongoing communication, addressing client needs, resolving inquiries, providing advice, and ensuring the accuracy of key information and documentation
Identify and offer assistance in accessing Firm services and solutions that cater to clients' needs, which may encompass banking products and services as well as secure, digital platforms like Morgan Stanley Online and Morgan Stanley Mobile
Authenticate approval and confirm the identity of the customer when handling their requests
Handle the establishment and upkeep of client accounts, which includes collecting client information and necessary paperwork, conducting financial transactions as a case in point
Analyze and act upon client account alerts appropriately
Other:
Team up with financial advisors to formulate a solid business plan and implement a client service approach successfully
Play a role in the team's marketing plan through the upkeep of marketing materials, digital and social media presence, and the organization of client events and educational sessions
Take an active role in participating in available training and educational programs that support the firm's strategic goals, professional development, and keeping abreast of policies, procedures, and emerging platforms, as well as regularly attending specified monthly training calls for field service professionals
Aid Financial Advisors by performing administrative tasks such as covering phones, coordinating travel arrangements, scheduling client meetings, preparing travel expense reports, and organizing filing and calendars
Get involved in company projects spearheaded by local leadership
Continuously explore options to leverage company assets for exchanging insights and collaborating with Financial Advisors
Knowledge/Skills:
Proficiency in computer technology and adept at utilizing Microsoft Office applications effectively
Exceptional proficiency in writing, interpersonal interactions, and customer support skills
Having a sharp focus on details, exceptional organizational capabilities, and the capacity to effectively prioritize tasks
Shows proficiency in team collaboration and leveraging collective strengths for optimal outcomes
Capacity to perform well in a fast-changing and dynamic work environment
Target-focused, self-driven, and results-oriented
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma/Equivalency
College degree preferred
Industry familiarity is a valuable asset
Willingness to achieve Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) along with Series 65 (RA) licenses
