Commercial Banking Consultants are tasked with analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to determine the risk associated with lending money to a business.

Our expansive branch network, competitive product offerings, and pricing, as well as robust local operational support, are designed to help you achieve your business development objectives. Crafting a list of potential new clients and actively participating in initiatives targeting new business development are essential for consistently adding new customer relationships. Engages with current customers to foster new business opportunities and enhance or retain existing relationships.

Required Skills:

• Improved sales and marketing prowess
• Working effectively with credit legal documentation requires a high level of understanding
• Evidenced ability to evaluate and scrutinize documentation for potential risks
• Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and due diligence requisites from prior roles
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Proficiency in financial institution functions and familiarity with credit assessment techniques
• Possessing strong organizational capabilities, sound reasoning, and proficient communication skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while multitasking, managing a high volume of work, and meeting essential deadlines
• Expertise in Word, Excel, and Power Point applications
• Competence in creating and preserving effective working relationships

Required Experience:

• Eligible individuals will have displayed a forward movement in their business-oriented path
• Demonstrated expertise in credit evaluation and portfolio supervision for five years or more
• Preferred candidates will have three or more years of experience within middle market commercial lending, strong credit evaluation skills, and a proven history of excelling in cultivating, upholding, and concluding new business ventures
• Ability to employ deductive and inductive reasoning to solve complex problems
• Capability to interpret recent data and apply it in future circumstances to resolve issues and make informed decisions
