Provides outstanding service to BMO clients and potential customers by recognizing their needs and offering recommendations on financial options that align with their best interests. Collaborates effectively both within the branch and across different platforms with BMO colleagues to ensure a positive customer experience and meet overall business goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Assumes a proactive role in actively interacting with current clients and potential leads through conducting evaluations based on their requirements to enhance loyalty and pinpoint present or upcoming chances.
• Assists customers in completing assessments to determine their financial requirements and preferred banking methods, offering personalized recommendations to meet both sales and service demands, ranging from everyday banking to retail investments, lending options, home financing, including self-employment applications, and small business services.
• Provides customers with recommendations and support regarding the various digital and self-service alternatives to streamline and expedite the banking process.
• Assists customers with their transaction requirements according to the volume of customer activity.
• Attracts clients to expand BMO's operations by initiating contact, setting up meetings, and establishing fresh connections in the local area.
• Addresses inquiries and resolves concerns identified during consumer credit audits and quality assessments to guarantee precise information input and lending application suggestions in alignment with legal and regulatory standards and lending guidelines.
• Implementing the risk management framework is essential for safeguarding the Bank's assets and upholding the lending portfolio's quality while adhering to lending process standards and established guidelines for yield, quality, diversification, and risk.
• Assesses creditworthiness for personal loans, such as mortgages, following prudent lending practices and adhering to the Bank's guidelines and protocols.
• Plays a critical role within a dynamic and adaptable division and industry group.
• Utilizing inquiries to gain insights into the individual financial requirements of clients and merging promotional initiatives and campaigns into discussions with customers to offer tailored recommendations.
• Ensures that work data is arranged in a precise and thorough manner to maintain its correctness and entirety.
• Shows proactive efforts in discovering innovative methods to ensure each client's interaction is tailored to their needs.
• Seeks opportunities to enhance the continuous enhancement of the overall customer satisfaction.
• Plays a role in achieving business outcomes and enhancing the overall customer satisfaction provided.
• Working in different locations or platforms as required by market demands may lead to varying work schedules each week, including shifts, hours, and days worked.
• Adheres to risk management and compliance protocols in order to protect the assets of our clients, uphold their confidentiality, and prioritize their welfare.
• Stays up-to-date with the broader financial services sector, the legal and regulatory landscape, and our dedication to maintaining the highest ethical standards in our field.
• Stays up-to-date on personal banking products, practices, and trends and incorporates this knowledge into interactions with customers.
• Detects and notifies authorities about questionable trends of behavior indicating potential involvement in money laundering.
• Adheres to laws and regulations applicable to the specific jurisdiction.
• Safeguards the bank's resources while adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Completing a variety of intricate tasks while adhering to set guidelines and boundaries, this role may also involve managing escalated issues from fellow colleagues.
• Evaluates problems and establishes the subsequent actions.
• Additional responsibilities may be delegated as required.

Qualifications:

• Having around 2 to 3 years of applicable experience and a college degree in a related field is preferred, or a similar mix of educational and work background is acceptable.
• Registration for selling investment products in Canada has been successfully finalized in accordance with the applicable regulations.
• Suitable lending criteria and certifications.
• Understanding the needs and solutions required by individual customers and small businesses through practical experience.
• Proficiency in retail investment and lending offerings.
• Having a background in financial services is advantageous.
• Skilled and proficient in utilizing social media platforms, tablets, smartphones, online resources, and apps.
• Previous involvement in a customer service or sales position that emphasizes a consultative approach and a commitment to providing personalized customer interactions.
