Job Title: CRA Loan Specialist

A CRA Loan Specialist establishes mortgage loans and generates business for the bank by building and maintaining relationships with real estate agents, contractors, and title companies in the local community.

Core Responsibilities:

• Initiates mortgage loan applications and guides clients through the process.
• Discusses loan terms, including conditions and interest rates, with clients.
• Collects essential client information and provides informed recommendations on suitable mortgage products.
• Ensures all disclosures and notifications are provided in compliance with mortgage regulations.
• Sets fixed interest rates with investors for future transactions.
• Manages the loan pipeline to protect the bank from interest rate fluctuations.
• Completes departmental paperwork and tasks in accordance with laws, policies, and procedures, including mandatory compliance training.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills:

• Ability to read, comprehend, and analyze procedural guides, business correspondence, and technical publications.
• Ability to review and interpret financial statements and legal documents.
• Proficiency in preparing reports and formal business correspondence.
• Capability to respond to written inquiries from clients, regulatory bodies, or business partners.
• Effective verbal communication skills for presenting information clearly and persuasively to clients, colleagues, and small groups.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• NMLS License required.
