Branch Teller

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer experience while processing financial transactions, assisting existing and prospective customers, and contributing to branch sales objectives.

Primary Duties:

Deliver outstanding customer experiences by consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations
Process basic customer interactions and cash transactions accurately
Monitor and balance cash daily to maintain financial accuracy
Identify referral opportunities that support branch performance goals
Comply with all applicable banking laws and regulations, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures
Identify risks and escalate concerns through proper channels
Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and related business areas
Adapt effectively to evolving digital banking tools and channels
Perform additional duties as assigned

Reporting Line:

This role reports directly to the branch leader.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Cash handling experience preferred
Prior customer service experience required

Strong customer service orientation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound judgment and decision making ability
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
Adaptability and flexibility in changing environments
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Flexible scheduling based on business needs

Compensation and Workplace:
