Job Summary:Branch Support Manager

The Branch Support Manager assists the Market Manager in supervising the day-to-day activities of the branch to guarantee smooth operations, regulatory adherence, and compliance with standard procedures. Additionally, this position entails offering advice and instruction to branch employees, addressing staff conflicts, and enhancing the sales performance of deposit and loan products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Market Manager in overseeing daily branch operations to guarantee effectiveness and compliance with existing regulatory and operational protocols.
• Offer continuous support and education to branch employees regarding a wide range of topics such as products, services, operations, and protocols.
• Collaborate with the Market Manager to address staff problems effectively and manage the recruitment and scheduling of employees.
• Prepare employee performance assessments and additional paperwork for assessment by Market Managers when necessary.
• Supervise the flow of tasks and handle teller and customer service duties autonomously when the Market Manager is not present.
• Responsible for generating sales in new deposit and consumer loan products, along with addressing inquiries about the full range of services offered by the financial institution. Skilled in identifying opportunities for sales and high-quality referrals while ensuring expertise in this area.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in management, sales, customer service, and operational roles within a financial institution for a minimum of three years is required.
• Skilled in both verbal and written interaction.
• Demonstrated robust abilities in customer sales, service, and communication.
• Proficiency in working autonomously and collaboratively with diverse team members.
• Can easily adjust to new circumstances and proficiently manage various assignments.
• Outstanding abilities in organization, technical problem-solving, and computer proficiency.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing teams and inspiring them to achieve desired outcomes.
• Thorough understanding of branch operations, teller responsibilities, and customer service protocols, policies, and procedures.

Specific Job Functions:

• Oversee the daily operations of the branch and ensure that staff consistently adhere to the Bank's operational protocols, policies, and standards.
• Accountable for ensuring timely completion and submission of branch cash audits and regular audit/security reports.
• Supervise teller and customer service staffing schedules to guarantee appropriate staffing levels and streamlined operations are upheld.
• Train, guide, and offer continuous education to employees to enhance their expertise and understanding in different domains like operations, adherence to regulations, marketing, and customer support.
• Actively participate in sales initiatives to showcase Partners Bank offerings to both current clients and potential leads.
• Skilled in selling, servicing, and personally generating all deposit and consumer loan offerings.
• Take part in organizing and presenting staff performance appraisals and records.
• Assist in the recruitment process for branch tellers and customer service personnel, as well as in developing protocols for addressing employee disciplinary issues.
• Capable of overseeing the branch on an interim basis when the Market Manager is unavailable
• Attend community functions on behalf of the bank and promote staff involvement.
• Carry out any extra tasks as needed.
