The primary role of the Financial Consultant at Huntington National Bank is to serve as the key advisor for high-net-worth clients, guiding them through personalized financial planning, investment strategies, and wealth management. The Financial Consultant is responsible for providing expert financial advice, fostering long-term client relationships, and ensuring clients' financial goals are achieved.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with existing and potential clients, offering expert advice on financial planning, investments, and wealth management to meet their long-term financial goals.
• Works collaboratively with a team of specialists to design customized financial strategies, including investment portfolios, retirement plans, and estate management solutions.
• Actively identifies opportunities for growing assets under management, deposits, and loans while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Expands the firm’s business presence through networking, community involvement, and cultivating external business relationships.
• Ensures that client relationships are expertly managed by providing ongoing support and advice tailored to changing financial needs.
• Stays informed about current market trends, regulatory changes, and other financial matters that impact clients’ financial plans.
• Delivers excellent customer service to ensure client retention and loyalty.
• Coordinates with internal teams and other specialists to provide comprehensive and integrated financial solutions.
• Performs other duties as required to support the business and client relationships.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or a similar financial services role, focusing on high-net-worth individuals or families.
• Required to obtain Life and Health Licenses within 90 days of hiring.
• Knowledge and understanding of financial products and services, including investment strategies, retirement planning, and estate planning.
• Ability to meet regulatory standards for Mortgage Loan Originators, as required by the SAFE Act and Truth in Lending Act, including registration and certifications, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Securities licenses (Series 7, Series 66) and life insurance licenses are a plus, though not mandatory.
• Proven success in managing relationships with affluent clients, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales and service goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively explain complex financial concepts.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client portfolios and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business and client objectives.
