Job Title: Business Loan Officer

Job Description:

Business Loan Officers are required to stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and industry regulations to make informed decisions about lending to businesses.

We offer an extensive and highly supportive branch network, competitive products and pricing, and exceptionally strong local operational support to help you achieve your business development objectives. Develops a list of prospective new clients and engages in new business development activities required for adding new customer relationships on a consistent basis. Calls on existing customers to develop new business and increase or retain existing relationships.

Required Skills:

• Strong sales and marketing capabilities
• Proficiency in working with credit legal documentation
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate documentation and identify risk factors
• Experience with regulatory, compliance, and due diligence requirements
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Solid understanding of bank operations and credit evaluation processes
• Strong organizational, analytical reasoning, and communication skills
• Self-motivated and independent with the ability to multitask and manage a demanding workload while meeting deadlines
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships

Required Experience:

• Demonstrated progressive growth in a commercial or business lending career
• Five or more years of credit analysis and portfolio management experience
• Three or more years of middle market commercial lending experience with strong credit skills and a proven record of developing, maintaining, and closing new business
• Ability to apply deductive and inductive reasoning to solve complex problems
• Ability to understand new information and apply it effectively in future decision-making and problem-solving situations
